National Children's Museum

A World of Possibility

Scheduled to open in 2012, the new National Children's Museum is organized around the idea of kidizenship. Kidizenship is central to the museum's mission and is defined as the lifelong commitment to being the best possible steward of your own physical and emotional well-being. Kidizenship provides experiences and tools that children need to develop cognitively, physically, emotionally, civically, and socially.

AldrichPears is currently developing the experiences for Our World. Designed for children 8 years and older, it aims to foster awareness of differences and similarities between cultures, peoples and places around the world.

Location: National Harbor, MD
