The Gulf of Georgia Cannery explores Canada’s West Coast fishing history, from sustainable Indigenous fishing practices to the multicultural workforce that caught and canned salmon at the site. APA re-envisioned the Cannery’s interpretive space, using the historic setting, interactives and key artifacts to tell stories of hardship and camaraderie.
