Wadi Safar
The Wadi Safar Visitor Center will immerse visitors within the unique Saudi landscape—a wadi, or seasonal riverbed. APA is working with the Diriyah Gate Development Authority to develop an interactive experience that will leave visitors with a deeper understanding of this delicate ecosystem and the important role of conservation.
Barari Diriyah
The Wadi Hanifah Barari Diriyah Conservation Center will be a sanctuary for wildlife and learning within the newly developed Diriyah Gate cultural complex. APA is working with the Diriyah Gate Development Authority to create hands-on indoor exhibits that will spark curiosity about the conservation efforts visitors can witness right outside.
Ocean Gallery

Monterey Bay Marine Sanctuary
APA’s work involves evaluating existing exhibits and developing concepts for improvements. A key component of the project was a three-day workshop with the client and stakeholders to examine the current Exploration Center experience and brainstorm ways to enhance it, in particular to appeal to a target audience of families with young children.
Sheikh Zayed Desert Learning Centre
The largest attraction of its type in the Gulf, The Sheikh Zayed Desert Learning Centre explores the natural diversity of Abu Dhabi’s desert and its cultural connections. APA led an international team to develop an experience that seamlessly integrates with the building’s complex architecture.
Kiwara at Odense Zoo
APA worked with Studio Hanson|Roberts to create Kiwara, an African-themed interpretive experience within the Odense Zoo in Odense, Denmark. By way of an explorative journey up the “Kiwara River,” visitors encounter various African habitats and the plants, animals and people that have adapted to them.
