Mendenhall Glacier

The rapidly receding Mendenhall Glacier is one of the most accessible
glaciers in North America. APA developed outdoor and indoor visitor experiences that address the changing landscape and invite visitors
to explore stories of continuity. Visitors hear Aak’w Kwaan storytellers’
deep connection with this living landscape and get hands-on to explore
the plants and animals that thrive on the newly exposed land.
