Redmond Wetland Complex

The City of Redmond is investing in a new approach to wastewater treatment that is sustainable, environmentally friendly, and also creates new habitats for wildlife and recreation areas for people. APA collaborated with the Redmond Wetland Complex team to develop exhibits that celebrate and educate visitors about this system and the environment it supports.
Nevada State Railroad Museum

The Nevada State Railroad Museum, Boulder City tells the story of railroading and shares how transportation systems have shaped the state’s history and culture. APA worked with museum staff to design an interpretive space for a purpose-built museum and train depot.
Hoover Dam Visitor Center

The Hoover Dam Visitor Center celebrates an iconic piece of American infrastructure and its history. APA collaborated with the Bureau of Reclamation to refresh the center’s exhibits and immerse visitors in stories of the dam’s engineering feats and functionality—and the grit and determination of the people who built it.
This is Native Land at Washington State History Museum

APA worked with the Washington State History Museum, located on the traditional homeland of the Puyallup people, to transform their Great Hall into a space dedicated to Native voices and perspectives. APA facilitated a collaborative design process that relied on Indigenous expertise and prioritized time for listening and learning.
Valley of Fire Visitor Center

With a dramatic landscape of towering sandstone boulders, Valley of Fire State Park welcomes hundreds of thousands of visitors each year. APA is designing interactive and immersive experiences for the upcoming visitor center that showcase the incredible geologic changes, while reminding visitors of the fragility of the desert ecosystem.
Wadi Safar Visitor Center

The Visitor Center at Wadi Safar showcases a unique Saudi landscape. Wadi Hanifah Barari Diriyah Conservation Center

The Wadi Hanifah Barari Diriyah Conservation Center will be a sanctuary for wildlife and learning within the newly developed Diriyah Gate cultural complex. APA is working with the Diriyah Gate Development Authority to create hands-on indoor exhibits that will spark curiosity about the conservation efforts visitors can witness right outside.
Prairie Gallery at Manitoba Museum

The Manitoba Museum interprets the interrelationship of people and their environment across millions of years and the province’s vast landscape. APA worked with the Museum to bring the province’s iconic grasslands—and its stories—inside. In the Prairie Gallery, visitors are immersed in the stories of Indigenous Peoples and newcomers through artifacts and interactive experiences.
Cape Breton Miners Museum

The Cape Breton Miners Museum presents the region’s role in building the nation through its unique geology, mining and people. APA worked closely with Museum staff and specialty consultants to create a simulator that takes visitors deep underground to experience the demanding and dangerous work of mining in Cape Breton—under the Atlantic Ocean!
